Hope Myo gets an award...

I think if she's attending, she should get an award. The question is # ranking. Also, I think she didn't have much sponsors/ ad/ etc..last year due to her overtly busy schedule, so she was not nominated on any of the sponsor awards. That means the most she would get is 1 award as compared to 2/3 in the previous years. Good luck to Myolie. I hope she gets top #3. I think last year she was #4.

I'm happy that she's confirmed attending because this means its confirmed she gets the Top 10 TV Artiste award!

In this award ceremony everyone who got invited confirmed won an award. I hope Myo is in top 3 too but I think the top 3 might go to others like Linda, Ray, LSK, Michelle, Ha Yu, Tavia, Susanna, Moses instead.

Yeah, I really hope she would be in top three too! It would be so nice!

Considering the somewhat average year Myo had in 2008, she still managed to get into Top 10 - that's a pretty big achievement (and with all those antis bashing and picking on her like she's the most hated actress in HK? I don't think so *whistles*).

I'm very proud of Myolie, but certainly dissapointed. Can't imagine Linda and Tavia beat her. Mostly from MR except Ada (GOL), Char, and Myolie. I guess Myolie got in becoz of real innate quality!

I just hope she's not down for being so called last on the list. Never give up, Myolie!

Ya, I can't believe my eyes when I saw even Tavia Yeung and Linda Chung are at higher ranking than Myolie I just hate the idea of putting T and L in just because they acted in MR.Btw, congrats Myolie for being in the top 10.I believe she will be ranked higher in the years to come

^ You also gotta consider that Myolie never got her bit of promotion as did the MR cast. TVB fully supported MR and its cast, and really pushed the series into its hype (as shown at the TVB Anniversary Awards, where none of the other series got any attention and special 'privileges' like MR did).

So for Myolie still being able to get into Top 10 and to even attend the awards is already a miracle in itself. You also gotta consider that Next/Apple Daily hates Myolie, so for them to give Myolie an awards is like... O_O

But yes, you're probably right about the antis going all hoo-hah about Myo being last on the list. But I don't see it like that coz you can also say that a lot of artistes missed out on even being in Top 10 e.g. Wayne Lai and Roger Kwok (who gave outstanding performances in their series).

Congrats Myolie, This is the 4th year in the row to make it for NEXT Award Top 10!

Both of you all great contributor to Myolie forum. Please don't be silent reader. We are all different so that's is bound to be different views. It is OKlah.

I for one happen not to appreciate MR too and it really annoy me to see every in every awards ceremony, most of the awards goes to MR cast. So, I may have unintentionally offend ppl too. It was brought up again because it is Next award ceremony. It is not as if it is fervent hatred....just annoying , at least to me. And it seems so unfair to other TVB artistes. Since TVB promotes MR so much, they might as well film MR the whole year around and terminate the rest of the artistes. Forget about filming other dramas series. Just my opinion only...so no offend to anyone, OK.

Anyone that seems to be threat to T would be severely criticised, with Myolie bearing the brunt of it because they are from the same batch. Next would be Charmaine.

I don't get why you assume that. Not all T fans are like that. I saw
Linda in MR. She really didn't perform that well, part of the fault is her & her weak character crying way too easily that it ended up being annoying when her character was supposed to be likeable. Charmaine's already TV Queen so T and Charmaine will never be competition since Charmaine's already considered an A-lister. I'm guessing you liked Linda's performance so we can agree to disagree on that. There are some actresses criticized in the past who weren't competition to T.

Neither a fan of L, T and C nor do I like them. Only Myolie is extraordinary to me.

A general observation, that's all. If the fan happens to like Myo too, of course they don't bash her.
