Myolie will be filming another explosion scene!!



Date: 22/06/08 (Sunday)
Time: 230 pm
Attendance: Wong Hei, Kevin Cheng, Myolie Wu, Matthew Ko, Eddie Li, Sam Chan, Elaine Yiu......

Haha cool another explosion scene woot woot it sounds exciting!!! I love action scenes Myolie's past series has no actions at all as I remembered. Well this time she is not the only female artiste because there is Elaine Yiu too.

Yea Bosco is nowhere for 2 big explosions now. I'm wondering where he is too. Guess he might appear late in the series too.

Yeah..looks like Bosco doesn't have many lead characters this year..

This scene is just a continued scene from a few days ago. Of course there's no Bosco. Maybe he was not on duty on that particular day...

^ The scene is continouse but its a very big scenes, Bosco not on duty doesn't sound possible because everyone was there we can see Matthew, sam chan and eddie Li. He's just mysteriouslyly missing LOL

^I remember reading it somewhere that Bosco's character in this series is not well liked by his colleagues Maybe that's the reason why he's not included in this scene lol he probably got transfer to another station or something for bad attitude jokes

It's the same for "moonlight resonance" aka "hog2". His role in there is super insignificant. it's bascially like nancy's role in "when the rules turn loose".

^ OT: Yeah I feel quite sorry for him for that series, but as an actor he's actually quite nice to take that silly role. Or maybe he just got no choice

In BF3 not only they give him a bad character and kick him out of the grand explosion scene, but they also give him the silliest hairstyle ever . Tvb really wants to make bosco look bad or what? Maybe Miss Lok don't like him. LOL jokes again

Lol who knows, perhaps Bosco was already injured from another fire scene or unfit for any rescuing. There's so many possibilities haha.

I guess it's just not Bosco's year this year. Well the best for him this year was WOIL2 haha.

Myolie has secured her place as fa dan aka "leading lady". She has other dramas besides "woil 1 & 2" that was popular.

Since we're on terminology, could I ask you all here, what's fadan? Is that a Chinese terminology or English? And another terminology I saw a lot, what is "add oil" mean as well. I see that in many threads. Thanks.

opps..haha... "ah ge" actually means like.. erm.. "fa dan" but for guys instead...like the leading males in tvb.. lol.. in Singapore, we call it "ah ge".. sorry about it..

^ yeap Bosco is too new, he only started taking "speaking" roles starting from TITS and Myolie is already one of the leads then. I oso don't think TVB want him as the "big brother" so soon. Better gain experience first.

Sigh it's Myolie's status as a "fadan" that makes some antis got uncomfortable and jealous haha.

Fadan is Chinese pinyin and is a Chinese terminology.

Add oil, it's a cheering exclamation in Cantonese. It's actually pronounced "Ka-yow"! Which in turn means add oil, not literally!

Add oil is keep going, a form of encouragement

Examples:
Add oil in doing your essays!
Add oil, you can do it!

If the anti's are uncomfortable with "fa dan" then what about the time when Astrid Chan keeps calling Myolie "si hau" LOL

lol yeah yut jeh and diai gor terms are called for the veterans artists like Liza Wang, Ha Yu etc.

I just never heard those term before. I didn't know it was a form of encouragement.

Si Hau = TV Queen. It's the same as Tin Hau (Queen of Music) and Ying Hau (Queen of Movies).
