1) Hacken Lee, Theresa and Myolie, etc, were at TVB City recording JSG last night. Myolie, who was present at the recording, has a chance to win Newcomer Award this year. She expressed that she doesn't have much confidence: "Now, i've prepared myself that i won't win any award."

李 克 勤 、 傅 穎 （ Theresa ） 和 胡 杏 兒 等 ， 昨 晚 到 電 視 城 錄 影 《 勁 歌 金 曲 》 。

有 指 克 勤 已 入 紙 紅 館 、 申 請 在 明 年 2 月 復 館 時 與 譚 詠 麟 開 騷 搶 飲 頭 啖 湯 ， 他 說 ： 「 入 紙 都 未 知 ， 雖 然 家 經 濟 唔 好 ， 但 娛 樂 係 需 要 ， 只 希 望 帶 開 心 氣 氛 畀 觀 眾 。 」

同 場 的 胡 杏 兒 今 年 有 機 會 角 逐 樂 壇 新 人 ， 她 自 言 信 心 不 大 ： 「 依 家 有 心 理 準 備 冇 羅 獎 先 。 」

2) Myolie, Theresa, Hacken, etc were at the JSG recording last night.

After Myolie and Hacken did a duet on 《不知不覺愛上你》 (unknowingly fall in love with you), she praised that Hacken's singing is very good, his live singing sounds as good as he sounds in the cd, causing her to feel very stress and afraid that she will forget the lyrics! Myolie's new album will be releasing in November. With regards to winning the Newcomer Award, Myolie said: "Not thinking so much, i'll just treat it that i won't have any chance."


3) Hacken and Myolie was at the JSG Recording last night. Myolie who was appearing as a singer for the first time, did a duet with Hacken, singing 《不知不覺愛上你》. Myolie expressed that she was very nervous and worried that she will forget the lyrics.

胡杏兒、傅穎（Theresa）、鄭融、黃耀明、李克勤等歌手，前晚齊錄影《勁歌金曲》。

杏兒與克勤合唱《不知不覺愛上你》後，即大讚克勤歌藝犀利，令她感到壓力兼害怕忘記歌詞！杏兒的新碟將於11月推出，對於角逐新人獎一事，杏兒說：「不想太多，只會當自己沒機會較好。」

Theresa最近正學習國語，為即將接拍的內地劇做好準備，她說：「該劇我會拍到年底，屆時會抽時間出席頒獎禮。」另外，對於有傳《左麟右李》搶得紅館重開後的首個演唱會檔期？克勤就表示不知情，只知經理人公司已入紙申請，但未知結果。

李克勤、胡杏兒前晚為《勁歌金曲》進行錄影，首次以歌手身分出席的胡杏兒與克勤合唱《不知不覺愛上你》，杏兒坦言甚為緊張，擔心忘記歌詞。近日有傳紅磡體育館重開後首場演唱會將會是「左麟右李」，對此克勤表示並不知情，只知道經理人公司有向紅館方面申請，但結果仍有待回覆。克勤表示「左麟右李」是一個讓港人看得開心的演唱會，他說：「上次舉行時正值沙士，今次亦在金融海嘯後舉行，『左麟右李』就好像雲吞麵，一份價錢看兩個人的演唱會，抵食又大件，我跟阿倫都是收一半錢，並非為錢而做這個騷，只希望再一次帶給大家歡樂。」

胡杏兒透露將於11月推出單曲唱片，她坦言未有想過拿到新人獎，她說：「沒想太多，當自己沒有獎會較好一點。」

I love Myolie. It' so nice of Hacken to support myolie. I wonder which song they sang. Cna't wait to see it. BTW has Linda been on JSG?

Linda has been on JSG before, when she was promoting for her album

Heard that Myo and Hacken sang the themesong for Legal Entanglement [not very sure on this]

Yes I wanna hear Hacken-Myolie duet too! i like Hacken's singing and he's a good singer! so it's a good chance for Myolie to learn fom him too. haha.. i hope someone will post it on youtube. :D

To Go myo,yeah.. she said something like she doesn't have much confidence in winning. I think she doesn't want to place high expectations on it in case she gets disappointed if she doesn't get it.

Yeah, but it sounds more like a question of comparison. Whatever.

I think Myo's response is to stop reporters bugging her during the awards season IF she isn't nominated or she doesn't win anything. You also gotta consider that her album is releasing quite late compared to other newcomers, and also plugging her songs relatively late too. So Myo's response isn't that surprising. To be honest, I don't have high hopes in Myo winning an award either... sure, if she wins something, I'll be extremely happy, but if she doesn't, it's not the end of the world (TVB awards are rigged anyway). I'm already happy that she's able to release her own album.

^ Yes! I totally agree that it's not the end of the world even if Myolie doesn't win an award. Anyway, like you mentioned, TVB awards are rigged anyway.

Yeah, i think Myolie doesn't want to put much hope on it too in case she gets disappointed. And if she mentioned that she is confident, reporters will start bugging her non stop and put words in her mouth... and she wll be on tabloid news again... so it is wise for her to stay humble. :) And i'm so happy that she has an album of her own.haha.. it doesn't matter if she has an award anyway.

I agree to the above. Awards are just a bonus.

Most importantly, the sales of her album is good. Especially since it's her debut album. I'm more concerned for this aspect.

^ Yeah, I'm more worried about sales. Especially when her album only has 2 or 3 new songs... the general public has already heard all her other songs before.

Will they still fork out money to buy her album? And especially when all of these songs are floating around the Internet too, full versions and ripped versions?

I still think this is a really bad tactic from Neway.

If they really want Myo to do well with sales (and continue realeasing albums under their name), they should let Myo release an album with just new songs, or at least MORE new songs than what she has now. Saying that, they should've waited till next year or something, rather than pushing her out this year. This would've given Myo more time to record new songs.

talking about that, yeah... why didn' they introduced more new songs? are they rushing for the awards ceremony? sigh..i hope that her cd sales will be high! haha..i'm going to buy it!!! (although i'm not sure where i can get it from..) But Neway seems to be really promoting Myolie.. doing a really expensive MV, holding a mini concert in December... which is good! haha..more chances for Myolie :D

I will buy the album. I guess I want to support Myolie and glad to see all her songs, old and new, are getting release officially. This will allow her songs to get onto the music chart. To the consumer, they are getting less for their money, but I think Neway have a good marketing strategy. Whether it is to compete for the award or just get Myolie's name out...it has already have a very very good start. It may not be a bad idea to keep more good new songs for her next album either!

I don't know much about sales strategy between TVB and Neway, but I agreed that at least Myolie got the opportunity to put her songs out to the world to listen. I will buy her CD when I get to HK. I already promised her that in writing. And I also want to express the same sentiment to Myolie. Good job on her first song, Traveling Solo (or Single). It's very nice. And I'm please she get the chance to team with Hacken Lee. I heard he is a top HK singer too.

I agree with hkangel that Neway needs to release an album with at least 4 new songs that haven't been heard or uploaded onto the internet to do well in sales. I don't understand what's the rush, but I really do hope that Myolie wins Newcomer Award.

I definitely agreed that I certainly would want to hear Hacken & Myolie duet as well. And, hkangel, I like your "thinking"...
By the way, I'm happy that Myolie is getting into a lot of activities here, relating to her music interest.

Simply because new songs require a higher budget and effort (buy the copyright of the music and lyrics, book the studio, hire a producer etc) lol. Her first album is just to test out how the audience/sales respond to her singing. It's like an EP... so I think having the old songs in there is already a bonus lol. And I am sure Myolie will be releasing another album after this as it would've been part of the contract to release at least 2-3 albums. And any future albums would depend on the sales of the first few. If you want new Myolie songs, buy her album rofl
