Last night (25 Apr), the second season of "Strictly Come Dancing", held in collaboration by both Hunan-Tv and Hong Kong TVB, had their first round of elimination of the female contestants. In last night's male competition, Derek from Hong Kong TVB, whom was being put on the "waiting list", did not successfully pull through, losing by a narrow margin of 0.01 mark, thus becoming the first eliminated contestant of this season's competition. Similarly, for Li Ji Xia, whom was on the "waiting list" as well, she had a decisive battle too. From the 5 TVB female stars, she would choose one of them to PK with.

For the first round, cute princess Sha Li and the previous week "perfect-scored dancing queen" Nancy Wu were the first up to perform. Hunan-Tv, at this time, was broadcasting a Thai drama series "Fleeing Princess", and the dance for Sha Li tonight also portrayed a cute princess' passion. On the other hand, Nancy Wu, whom achieved full marks last week, decided to challenge a more difficult dance - Samba, and her splendid performance also won the judges' compliments.

Niu Meng Meng was hot and sexy, and Judge Yang Yang complimented that even her hair knew how to dance as well. As for Angela Tong, her "cat dance" does not pale into comparison either, portraying the sexy and playful nature of the cat-woman, which had more gracefulness and intelligence.

Myolie was the next performer. Her entrance to the stage was startling to the audience, similar to the "Chicago" movie. Myolie brought everyone an interesting performance, and she also added that now she had a real taste of the happiness brought about through dancing. After joining this competition, she had really fallen in love with dancing.

The competition moved onto a more emotional phase. In last night's rehearsal, Chen Lu's right leg suffered a serious injury. But Chen Lu, whom was once a sportswoman, expressed that athletes have very strong determination. When she insisted on standing on the stage to carry on her perfect performance, everyone was appalled. He Jiong encouraged her through sobs, and Teacher Zhou and Yang Yang also were touched to tears. The next performer, Grace Wong, also went up onto the stage despite her injury, and presented a young and energetic dance, getting a high score of 9.5 as well.

The last performer was Li Ji Xia. She had been preparing herself throughout the week, even personally taking part in choreographing the dance moves and arrangement. A creative dance filled with individual characteristics also won the judges' praises.

After all the performances ended, the most anxious moment had also arrived - whom was the PK candidate being chosen. It was then being revealed - Christine Ng from TVB. After putting together the judges and 200-audience votes, Li Ji Xia (15.86) was being defeated by Christine (17.07), and was eliminated out of the competition.

Then, 18 competitors have since advanced to the next stage. Before revealing the results of the netizens' votes of their ideal dance partner teams, all competitors were to write down their own ideal partner's name, and the results sent the scene into a state of chaos. Myolie's and Nancy's "Prince Charming" all became "heartless men", making these ladies feel embarrassed, while other handsome guys also had their "unrequited love".

I don't really get this..

What does it means??

^ The guys that Myolie and Nancy chose in the pairing game all chose someone else instead, making them feel embarrassed/upset (jokingly). And vice versa to some of the other guys.

lol...Kevin didnt meant to do that, anyways Kevolie still pair up afterall, haha it so funny when the hosts announce the official pairing, Kevin got Myolie, and his face expression is so funny , he didnt choose her but still got her at the end hehe.

Angela and Timmy were funny too, Kenneth and Timmy keep fighting for Chen Lu, haha but Angela keep wanting to pair with Timmy, then he like "no no no" and ran away lol...so funny.

I love Chicago, and I adore Myolie, so you can imagine how great I found that dance. XD
