Although the news of the divorce with his wife is well known, this did not affect his popularity. 'When a Dog Loves a Cat' even attracted quite a lot audience to watch. The fans even discussed about Gallen Lo's acting in the series. Beside of praising Gallen Lo's acting, the netizens bashed Myolie Wu's acting as being too exaggerated, 'don't matched with Gallen Lo'.

At "Baidu's Gallen Lo webpage", a netizen has pasted all series Gallen Lo acted in, after comparing said "The character in this series is most similar with 'At the Threshold of an Era' character Yip Wing Tim". Netizen "Tin Ma Han Hung" said: "Maybe it is because I have not seen his new series for so long time, but everything seems not too real. Bringing forward, Gallen Lo will die lonely

According to the currently published trailers and pictures we can analyze, in the series the bickering couple, Gallen Lo and Myolie Wu, will get together as lovers, but their relationship will end on a tragic note. In the ending, Gallen Lo old disease reappeared. To let Myolie not to be very sorrowful, he brings Myolie with her old boyfriend together and he died lonely.

After this has been published, a lot of netizens raised disagreement, netizen Miu Miu said: "Gallen Lo's first comeback series ends up in tragedy, not good, too bad luck la."

Well, as they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I think Myolie looks really pretty in here. You really do wonder what are the "netizens" so-called judgement on whether someone is pretty or not.

LOL, that's all they say right? Whatever Myolie does, and even though she has improved, they still say her acting is exaggerated.

And maybe they're too blinded by their hatred, but I actually see differences between Chow Chow and the other characters Myo has played - Chow Chow, despite being the slightly clumsy subordinate to MC, is much more feminine and gentle than Chow Lai Mun or Sup Yut. Chow Chow also understands her mistakes, and accepts them. And Myo successfully conveys these points. If these 'netizens' did not even pick these pointers up, then you really wonder if they have the right to judge other artistes performances.

It's SO obvious that they are just 'jumping' on the bandwagon, once some idiot starts a post saying: Oh, Myolie's acting is exaggerated (coz he/she's too lazy to think of another adjective). And all the antis just jump in and add fuel to the fire.

In the newsarticle, I can see that Gallen Lo is really big favourite to everyone.. He's "Most wanted comeback actor" and even Roger and Moses praises him as number one.
Myolie should be lucky to be work with such a legendary actor for the second time, but she deserves it too. She has the quality to act and she isn't exaggerating at all! This series is a comedy, like WOIL2, this type of series requires acting like this.

Gosh the Chinese is hard LOL. I'll try my best though.

Just read and then forget these comments, HK neitizens really have nothing to do besides keep bashing and complaining every single thing, but same reasons. I agree with what you said Wen sis, they should go get a life and stop making negative comments about someone with no logic and different reasons.
Myolie did her job and I think she did fine. She did what she has to do and the script is written like that, why blaming her.

I hope Myo is okay though with all the comments bashing at her, I mean I really don't see her acting that bad, maybe cause I'm one out of her thousand fans ? =S

Okay. with tai chi I understood that myolie exaggerated some of her crying scenes.

However, what scene did myolie exaggerate in here? I don't see it. Her acting in here is way more toned down than in "wars of the in laws 2" yet people praise her in "wars of the in laws 2", but can't do the same here? -_-

And if they think her acting is fake, they should try watching some Singapore productions because many of my friends think that HK actors and actresses can act WAY BETTER than most of the Singaporean actors and actresses.

Can't imagine that the HK reporters are bashing their own entertainment ...amazing. This don't happen in the Korean , Japanese, Bollywood or even the Hollywood . I still think there is one STUPID troublemaker out there that kept stirring up the same thing every time Myolie Drama are aired. And worse still, the HK reporters made out an whole article on it.
